These co-curricular activities help develop talent, creativity, confidence, teamwork, and practical life skills. We encourage all learners to participate actively and make this term exciting and productive.

P7 Graduation Ceremony Held at Nest of Hermon School

On 14th February 2026, Nest of Hermon School proudly celebrated the Primary Seven (P7) Graduation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of our candidates.

The event was filled with joy, thanksgiving, and reflection as our learners successfully completed their primary education. Parents, teachers, and invited guests gathered to witness this special occasion and to congratulate the candidates for their dedication, hard work, and resilience.

The ceremony featured inspiring speeches, appreciation of teachers, recognition of outstanding learners, and moments of celebration that highlighted the growth and achievements of the graduating class.

Hoima City Head Teachersโ€™ Meeting Held at Nest of Hermon School

On 12th February 2026, Hoima City Head Teachers gathered for their official meeting hosted at Nest of Hermon School.

The meeting brought together head teachers from various schools across the city to discuss key issues concerning academic excellence, school leadership, learner welfare, and the continued improvement of education standards within Hoima City.

The session provided a platform for collaboration, sharing experiences, and strengthening professional networks among school leaders. Important resolutions and strategic plans were discussed to enhance effective school management and learner performance.

At Nest of Hermon, our learners donโ€™t just studyโ€”they create, design, and bring ideas to life. Through the Embroidery Club, they are given materials, threads, needles, and fabric, and they learn to make their own clothes, decorative pieces, and stitched artwork.

This hands-on experience helps them grow in creativity, patience, and confidence.

Afro-Caribbean Experience Concert โ€“ 30th November 2025

Nest of Hermon School is excited to announce our upcoming Afro-Caribbean Experience Concert, happening on 30th November 2025. This annual cultural showcase gives our learners an opportunity to celebrate diversity, creativity, and the rich heritage of African and Caribbean communities through music, dance, art, and drama.

What to expect
The concert will feature;

Vibrant musical performances inspired by African and Caribbean rhythms

Energetic cultural dances highlighting traditional movement styles

Creative stage acts showcasing storytelling, costumes, and expressive art

A colourful atmosphere that blends culture, learning, and fun


Each presentation has been carefully prepared by the learners with guidance from their teachers to ensure a memorable and meaningful performance for our guests.

Dear Parents and Guardians, We wish to inform you that, as per our school schedule, learners will break off this Friday โ€” the last Friday of the month โ€” and go home. However, there will be no classes on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th November 2025, as our Primary Seven (P.7) candidates will be sitting for their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) on those days. In addition, most of our teachers will be engaged in invigilation duties during this period. Therefore, all learners (except P.7 candidates) are expected to return to school on Wednesday, 5th November 2025. We kindly urge parents to help their children use this short break responsibly and to keep our P.7 candidates in prayer as they sit for their final exams.
